I use relational, body oriented, depth psychotherapy to expand the idea of how we come to know ourselves. I view I believe out of our darkest hours come our greatest gifts, forming the building blocks for embodied wholeness. Together with my clients, we journey into uncharted territory, uncovering insights along the full spectrum of what it means to be a human being- from intuition and authenticity, to purpose and belonging. We’ll work at your pace to piece together bewilderments and make sense of pain.

My clients describe me as compassionate, grounded, gentle, and safe. I tailor a holistic, trauma informed approach to individual clients, drawing from mindfulness, east/west psychology, somatic therapy, and neuroscience. My training and experience includes years of grief work with hospice clients and families, depth and Jungian psychotherapy, polyvagal and attachment theory, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy for trauma.

When working with couples, I aim to offer a safe place to learn to co-regulate, communicate effectively, break negative cycles, & understand each other better. I hold particular interest for and advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Ellyn Bader’s Developmental Model, Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy, & Martha Kauppi’s intimacy model to facilitate couples with sex and intimacy challenges.

I am a registered associate marriage and family therapist and hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in depth therapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, CA. I meet with clients online and in person in La Jolla Shores.
